Career Connections
Competition in the workforce can be difficult for students but Tallo is looking to change that. Founded by Casey Welch, the organization has partnered with more than 300 companies and colleges, including Boeing, Blackbaud and Cummins, to improve workforce diversity, proactively engage the country’s talent pipeline, foster growing apprenticeship programs and engage with local communities. In 2018, Tallo connected students from more than 2,000 colleges and nearly 20,000 high schools in all 50 states with potential career pathways, jobs and apprenticeships and scholarship opportunities. Welch comes from an extensive background in technology and education. Before co-founding Tallo, he held leadership positions with NorthTech Partners, Inc. and Stimulus Engineering Services as their Director of Business & Technology Development.
