Human Trafficking
Anyone can find themselves confronted with a human trafficking situation as victims are often with us in plain sight. A public restroom stall is often the only place that a victim is alone and able to ask for help. Freedom Stickers, the toll-free number and text of the National Human Trafficking Hotline are placed in public restroom stalls providing victims a pathway to freedom, at a moment when the traffickers control is at its weakest. Nita Belles, actively involved in this innovative outreach effort to combat human trafficking nationwide, has been featured on USA Today, CNN and FOX.
